Ms. Zhai has been the President and CEO since January 2018, and formerly the Chief Financial Officer at Monument Mining Limited since 2001 (formally Moncoa Corporation). Ms. Zhai has over 20 years of extensive experience at executive and senior positions covering executive management, business strategic planning, corporate finance and corporate secretary mainly in the mining industry and other business sectors including: high tech, manufacturing and biotech industries across North America, China, South-East Asia and Australia. She has played a major role in the company’s corporate development and financing, as well as directly participating in the establishment of the Selinsing Gold Mine from its start up. Ms. Zhai is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (“CPA”) and holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics.

General Manager, Selinsing Gold Mine

Mr. Northfield is a mineral processing engineer with over 35 years of experience in the mining industry. He has gained extensive experience in gold processing techniques, tungsten and tin processing, tantalum, graphite and gemstones. He started at Selinsing as gold plant processing manager in 2009 and played a major role in the construction and operation of the process plant at Selinsing and each expansion phase. Mr. Northfield was promoted to the general manager of the Selinsing operation in 2011. Mr. Northfield has worked in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Ghana, Brazil, Czechoslovakia, UK, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Sierra Leone. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mineral Processing Technology and Associateship from the Camborne School of Mines, UK.

Mr. Simpson is a professional mining engineer with over 35 years of international experience, primarily in the gold mining sector, with operations in Australia, the United States, Mali, and Tanzania. He has worked on major projects with leading operators, including Zijin Mining (Paddington Gold Mine), Newcrest Mining (Mt Marion underground gold mine), and Resolute Mining (Syama Gold Mine), covering engineering, cost control, mine development and expansion, as well as in due diligence for Barrick Gold assets in Western Australia. Prior to joining Monument in November 2025, he held senior leadership roles as Principal Mining Consultant with Atlantech (2023–2025), General Manager at Barto Gold (2020–2022), Blackham Resources (2018–2020), and the Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine (2010–2012). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines and a WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency.

Wan Alim brings over 23 years of experience in the mining industry, with a strong focus on gold and bauxite production, as well as extensive collaboration with state authorities in developing mining operations across Pahang State. He began his career at the Penjom Gold Mine, where he spent eight years (2002-2010) in surveying and mine planning roles before joining Raub Australian Gold Mine. During his four years there (2010-2014) he advanced to the position of Mining Technical Superintendent. From 2014 to 2018, Wan Alim served as Senior Mining Manager at the Kuantan Pahang bauxite mine, overseeing both mining and plant operations. In his most recent role as General Manager of YP Mining Sdn Bhd (2018-2025), he led a multidisciplinary team driving exploration, development and production of iron ore, gold, silica sand and other minerals within Pahang state. Wan Alim’s career reflects a rare combination of deep technical expertise in gold production, solid leadership and project management skills, and a well-established relationship with state mining authorities. He holds a Professional Certificate in Survey Engineering and Geological Modelling from Gemcom, Perth, Australia (2011) and an Executive Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mining/Minerals) with Honours from the University of Malaysia, Pahang (2020).

Chief Managing Geologist

Mr. Brown is a geologist with 24 years of experience in the mineral resource industry, including new mine project start-up, management of geology and technical service teams, near mine/brownfields exploration and resource estimation modelling and interpretation. He has worked at mainly Australian gold mines, with additional experience in the United States. His recent senior roles include Chief Mine Geologist at Brightstar Resources Ltd (Jun. 2024 to May 2026), Geology Manager at Meekatharra Gold Operations, Westgold Resources Ltd (Aug. 2023 to Jun.2024), Geology Superintendent at Fortnum Gold Operations, Westgold Resources Ltd (Apr.2023 to Aug. 2023) and Geology Superintendent at Haile Gold Mine, OceanaGold Corp (Nov. 2019 to Oct. 2022). Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science (Mining Geology and Mineral Exploration) from the Western Australian School of Mines in Kalgoorlie, W.A. and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG), qualifying as a JORC Competent Person and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
